Our Story

Where We Started

K&E began with a simple belief: Korean food deserved a bigger stage in the United States. We grew up moving between Korea and American kitchens — bakery counters, franchise floors, restaurant openings — and started K&E in 2019 to bring the best of that world stateside, one storefront at a time.

How We Operate

We're not a passive investor. We run our own stores, sit inside franchise partnerships as operators, and work the floor alongside every brand we bring on. That hands-on approach is why proven Korean concepts trust us to open their first US locations — and why the concepts we develop ourselves hold to the same standard.

Where We're Headed

From a Virginia bakery café to a Philadelphia BBQ house to Korea's most-loved coffee and chicken brands, our portfolio keeps growing toward one goal: making world-class Korean food part of everyday life across the US — and beyond.
